Selected product: UV sensor wearable <em><strong>aur\u00e9ole<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Objective: Design, specify, build, and test an electronic product employing an embedded microprocessor (UV sensor wearable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Key requirements:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify key components for product<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sketch out systems level block diagram of product<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calculate power budget from selected components<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select suitable power management system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Begin design and layout of product PCB<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project management approach: Weekly scrum with project partners, attending office hours of professors if necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenges encountered\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Technical questions and challenges from interacting with entirely new systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lack of direction from professors <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAP\/\/\/wAAACH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAICRAEAOw==\">\u2192 project management questions and miscommunications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outcomes: Specification phase in progress, Product Requirements Document V1 completed.
